When milliCare commercial floor cleaning franchise owners meet up for the annual Exchange, they give new meaning to the phrase “time management.” That’s because if there was ever a time to squeeze in a few extra hours in a day, this would be it.
“We do pack a lot of information into a short period, and that’s because we know how busy our franchise owners are,” says Bill Helton, Director of Franchise Development. “We also know how much they value being able to hear from, and learn from, each other.”
One of the most talked about presentations was given by Chris Rankin, wife of milliCare commercial floor cleaning franchise owner Chip Rankin, who talked about how to leverage milliCare’s business management technology in order to maximize operations and boost profit.
“Chip is one of our top-producing franchise owners, and he and his wife Chris are experts on mPower, our operating software,” Helton says. “Having a franchise owner talk about our systems provides more credibility than it would coming from our management team. Plus, they are really sharp about maximizing its value, so that was very beneficial to everyone there.”
Another well-attended presentation came from Chris Cusick, Director of Strategic Accounts, who dove into strategic accounts. These have become a major driver of business for milliCare, and franchise owners are benefiting from these large-scale pieces of business that can deliver revenue to owners in multiple states or countries.
“We are working to grab large pieces of business that benefit franchise owners in many different markets,” Helton says. “An example is a law office with 29 locations nationwide. When we land clients like that with our national sales team, multiple franchise owners benefit. And when they communicate more, they often uncover even more opportunities for cross-territory business, or just get some new ideas about potential customers in their market. It’s just one example of how the Exchange really helps everyone grow their business.”
