Additionally, our franchise owners provide carpet, floor and textile care to hospitals and industrial facilities. We even do airports.
How do I find technicians?
Staffing your milliCare Floor & Textile Care franchise requires finding technicians who are looking for long-term employment in a rewarding career. Sometimes, technicians will approach you about joining your operation. In some markets, advertising works well, while other franchise owners have had great success using staffing agencies.
How many employees do I need to start?
Starting a milliCare franchise requires at least one to two full-time employees, usually in addition to yourself. While some franchise owners have successfully opened with themselves and a single technician, optimally, you will manage one of the three key areas of the business: operations, sales or service. If you chose to be the salesperson, for example, you would need someone working the phones, managing the office and scheduling your technician. We recommend you plan for between three and five full-time employees, including yourself.
Who are my competitors?
On a national scale, no other brand is competing exclusively for commercial carpet, floor and textile care, though some of the restoration and cleaning franchises offer some sort of water-based carpet shampoo service. For the most part, janitorial services tack on commercial floor care as an afterthought.
How much are the franchise fee and startup costs?
The franchise fee for a single milliCare territory is $35,000, with an additional $39,900 initial equipment package cost that is also paid to milliCare. The total startup costs range from $106,000 to $150,000.
