milliCare Annual Convention Showcases New Systems and Processes
There’s no standing still in a successful business, which is why milliCare is always working to bring new products, equipment and services to franchise owners
When milliCare commercial floor cleaning system franchise owners get together, the ideas start flying. That was certainly the case at the recent annual convention, where innovation was the order of the day.
“We had 20-year veterans tell us this was one of the best exchanges we’ve ever held, which is definitely want we want to hear,” says Bill Helton, Director of Franchise Development. “This is our chief opportunity to get everyone together, so it’s about sharing what’s working, what’s not, and what’s coming along that’s going to help boost business and increase revenues for franchise owners.”
Technology integrates operations with fieldwork
The corporate team introduced a new operating system to milliCare franchise owners, which will integrate back-office and field functions, providing a platform that’s easier to operate and combines more services. That will make life easier for franchise owners.
“It’s everything they need to run their office efficiently, but we also are working with our vendor to make sure that the functionality is very easy to understand, so that franchise owners aren’t spending all their time at the computer. We’ll be ramping up coaching, as well, so everyone’s excited because they know they’re getting great new technology and also the experience they need to maximize its effectiveness.”
New equipment boosts bids, supports collaboration
A lot of time was spent looking at new cleaning equipment as well. The milliCare team has incorporated machinery that uses foaming technology, which the brand had not used in the past, to go after business that before wouldn’t have been profitable. This move and others also will help with strategic sales, where two or more milliCare commercial floor cleaning franchise owners can partner up on big-ticket opportunities within and outside their territories.
“We couldn’t compete sometimes because our dry-powder solution was more expensive than the foaming option,” Helton explains. “Now we can be more competitive with jobs of a much wider size and scope. And because we have the best service, we’re hearing from larger entities, like a law firm with 19 locations and a banking institution with 200 sites, which are interested in our combination of excellent work and reasonable pricing. That means owners will be able to share one client across multiple territories, which is new for us but very exciting.”
